A high ranking member of terror group, Boko Haram, was yesterday September 17th captured by the military after a failed attempted attack on Konduga in Borno state. The sect members actually made a second attempt into Konduga after the military celebrated its victory against them yesterday afternoon. The captured terror leader is currently at a military facility where he is receiving treatment. In a related development, one soldier was killed after an ambush was laid by the sect members in Benishek, Borno state. Four motorcycles were captured from the terror group after the attack. 15 Nigerian soldiers who refused to follow orders from their superior to go to the war front and fight members of the insurgency group, Boko Haram in Adamawa state recently, were yesterday September 17th sentenced to 4 years imprisonment by a military court that sat at the 23rd Armoured Brigade in Yola in Adamawa state. The sentenced soldiers who had been in detention for over three weeks were convicted on charges ranging from insubordination, dereliction of duty and refusal to undertake order assigned to them in the war against the sect members. Suspected Boko Haram Bombers have unleashed another terror in a college in Kano this afternoon. According to witnesses, gunshots and multiple explosion hit the Kofar Kabuga campus of Federal College of Education around 2pm this afternoon. Students and campus workers were seen fleeing the campus for safety. Two witnesses told AFP this afternoon that they saw 5 vehicles taking away dead bodies from the scene of the attack. Nigerian troops this morning September 17th Had a victory over the Sect. They Successfully crushed another attempt by Boko Haram members who were on a revenge mission to Konduga, in Borno State. According to a statement by Defence HQ, 3 Hilux vehicles, 1 Amoured Personnel Carrier and a cache of arms and ammunition were captured by the troops. Hundreds of the militants were said to have been killed. Troops are now combing the vicinity, in a cordon and search operation to determine the heavy casualties suffered by the terrorists in the encounter. Yesterday there were reports that a private jet was seized and two Nigerians were being investigated for trying to smuggling $9.3 million in cash into South Africa (read here). It turns out that the private jet the money was found in belongs to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN president, Ayo Oritsejafor via a company he co-owns, Eagle Air. But in a statement released today, Pastor Oritsejafor said he had leased the jet to another company so had no control over the use of the jet. Oh No The whole Family was wiped out. So painful and touching .The Generator fumes has killed a man, his wife and all his 3 children in Ipoyewa community of Ikorodu, Lagos. The bodies of the whole family was discovered by neighbours last Friday September 12th in their home. All five suffocated to death after inhaling fumes from a generator which they'd kept in their room. According to his neighbours, they said the man bought the generator just two days before the unfortunate incident and was afraid it would be stolen if left outside, he then decided to keep it inside his 2-room apartment. Above is a picture of a dead robber who got himself electrocuted while trying to steal cable from a transformer just beside a house on Iju road by Lonlo bus stop. He apparently tried to steal the cable in the very early hours of today when he got electrocuted and has remained in that position until the residents of the area woke up.The residents say they are waiting for Government officials to come and carry his dead body from the spot because nobody can go there in fear of been electrocuted.
